Filing a patent application in Slovakia
You can apply for a patent for an invention by filing an application with the IPO SK. The application must be made in writing - it is recommended to use the form - Application (Žiadosť) or to use the electronic filing services of the Office*.
The Office's electronic services (Elektronické služby úradu) are available through three systems:
The Electronic Services Portal (PES of the SR Office)
- The Electronic Services Portal
- Central Portal of Public Administration
- Online filing
