Extending protection abroad
The trademark has a territorial character, i.e. the Slovak trade mark is valid only in the territory of the Slovak Republic. If you want to have the trade mark valid in another country, you need to register the sign in that country and extend the protection abroad (rozšíriť si tak ochranu do zahraničia).
