Topographies of Semiconductor Products
Topographies of semiconductor products that are the result of creative work of an inventor and are not common in the industry of semiconductor products shall be protected according to the Act No. 146/2000 (PDF, 112,6 kB) Coll. on Protection of Topographies of Semiconductor Products. Protection according to this Act covers also the parts of a topography that may be used separately as well as the depiction serving for the manufacturing of a topography.
The term of protection of a topography is 10 years as from the end of the calendar year of its creation.
