Working Meeting with the HIPO Representatives
On September 16, the representatives of the Hungarian Intellectual Property Office (HIPO) – the President Miklós Bedzsel and the Vice-President Judit Hajdú – visited the Industrial Property Office of SR. Discussion led by the President of the IPO SR Ľuboš Knoth related to actual international issues on intellectual property. The primary topics were to create the Danube Patent Institute and the working programme of the upcoming 51st series of Meetings of the Assemblies of the Member States of the World Intellectual Property Organization in Geneva (September 23 – October 2).
Attention was also paid to the present development at the European Patent Office and the Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market. The HIPO President informed that Hungarian Government has approved an updated version of the National Strategy of Intellectual Property Protection by 2016.
