Other Electronic Service for Clients of the IPO SR
From November 29, 2013 the Industrial Property Office of the Slovak Republic has made a new service - electronic filing of documents related to the subsequent processes of trade marks - available to its users. This service relates to request for the entry of transfer of a trade mark, request for the amendment of information related to an applicant or a proprietor, oppositions against the registration of a sign, request for the renewal of a trade mark, request for the revocation of a trade mark and request for the declaration of invalidity of a trade mark.
The project, within which the electronic application forms were created, was co-funded by the Office for Harmonisation in the Internal Market (OHIM) located in Alicante. Launching this service was another step to the Office services electronisation.
The forms are available on the website of the Office in the part electronic application forms.
Since filings made via electronic application forms are not possible to be signed by an electronic signature/guaranteed electronic signature, it is necessary to submit an application in the written form within the period of one month. Otherwise such filing shall be deemed not to be filed. The fee reduction shall not be applicable to such filing.
